ACFI Policy and Guidelines
This policy includes the measures we are actively taking to mitigate the spread of coronavirus. You are kindly requested to follow all these rules diligently, to sustain a healthy and safe venue in this unique environment. It’s important that we all respond responsibly and transparently to these health precautions.
This policy is subject to change and updates without prior notice. Seeing as the guidelines, measures and restrictions of the pandemic change continually, and in some cases drastically, please check back regularly for any changes that may occur.
This policy applies to all of our staff, volunteers and attendees of the ACFI who physically come to the function to participate or assist in the successful running of all convention events. This includes following the guidelines and measure put into place by the Marriott Plaza Hotel and/or the CDC. This policy is not meant to replace any other policies in place by the venue Hotel and/or the CDC.
If you are feeling ill or have any symptoms, such as cough, sneezing, fever, or feeling poorly, please stay home.
If you have recently been around or in close contact with anyone displaying or as having Covid-19 or any of its related symptoms or are coming from an area with unusually high cases (based on CDC announcements) please stay home.
Wash your hands after using any public facilities. There will be hand sanitation stations around the hotel. Please use them regularly.
Cough/sneeze into your sleeve, preferably into your elbow. If you use a tissue, dispose of it properly and clean/sanitize your hands immediately.
Avoid touching your face, particularly your eyes, mouth and nose with your hands.
If you find yourself at any point displaying any of the symptoms related to Covid-19, such as cough, sneezing, fever or feeling poorly, please avoid physical contact with others and take extra precautionary measures.
Please follow any and all social distancing guidelines implemented by the Hotel and the ACFI as recommended by the CDC.
